Exhibiting at a trade show can be hectic, but it doesn’t have to be. Avoid last minute chaos by having a game plan for your big day. Here are four things to keep in mind during the 30 day crunch to showtime.

1. Don’t Forget the Basics
In the rush to get everything ready, the little things can easily be missed. Pack a box filled with standard office supplies (tape, staples, markers, etc.) and basic meds (aspirin, cough drops, bandages) so you won’t be scrambling to find them later.
Mail out postcards to contacts and potential leads offering something special if they fill it out and bring it to the show. This keeps your company’s name in their minds, and gets them on your mailing list (not to mention in your booth).

Email your customers regarding the event and your booth number. Put the show name in the subject line.
Schedule meetings in advance with customers, media members, vendors, potential partners and others. Networking is critical, and scheduling in advance allows you to best organize your time.
